Privacy Policy

Last updated 27 August 2026

This policy describes what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.

1. The short version

This is a public information site. There is no visitor account to create and no contact form to fill in, so almost nothing about you is collected. What little there is, is described below.

2. Information you give us

If you email the address published on this site, we receive whatever you write, along with your email address, and keep it for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. It is not added to a mailing list or shared with anyone else.

3. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site records basic technical details of each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs help keep the site available and secure.

4. Cookies and browser storage

No advertising or tracking cookies are set on the public pages. Administrators signing in to the private management area receive a session cookie, which exists only to keep them signed in and is removed when they sign out.

5. Third-party content

Video content is embedded from, or linked to, platforms such as YouTube and TikTok, and some pages link to external news coverage. When you play or follow that content, the platform hosting it may set its own cookies and collect its own data under its own privacy policy. We have no access to, or control over, what those services collect.

6. How information is used

  • To reply to messages you send us.
  • To keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
  • To understand which articles are read, in aggregate, so future content is more useful.

7. Sharing

Personal information is not sold, rented or traded. It is disclosed only where the law requires it, or to the service providers who host this site and its email, who may process it strictly on our behalf.

8. Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete correspondence you have sent. Write to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Children

This site is written for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if the site starts collecting anything new. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
